Helping the individual
Whilst we could write reams on this the reality is that if an employee/s feels they cannot talk to their line manager, HR etc, if there are issues with feeling others are just as stressed or there are communication issues, conflict, even intimidation then the individual cannot tackle it. Having someone who will listen and also challenge their situation, perspective and thinking is very valuable. They might even be off sick so are not even in the workplace as such and may feel very isolated, as the world carries on without them
